It is the next step for dental professionals who have already completed the Fundamentals Seminar and want to expand their proficiency as a prevention specialist.
This course offers an in-depth analysis of TePe’s Prevention Compass™ Protocol, a 7-step pragmatic approach to behavior change. While incorporating this protocol, dental professionals will integrate prevention guidelines from associations with authoritative voices, as well as evidence-based literature to understand best recommendations for healthy tissue, a reduced periodontium, dental implants, and orthodontics. Using case studies, confidence will be gained when communicating with the many different patient populations and personality types.

3. Prevention Compass™ Master Seminar
The Prevention Compass™ Master Seminar provides a comprehensive understanding of homecare techniques and tools, as well as providing leadership skills. This seminar is for those who have already completed the Fundamentals & Advanced Seminars and have been invited to the Master Seminar as training to become part of the TePe Extended Clinical Team. This is intended for dental professionals that want to expand into an educator role with TePe.
Dental professionals will recall previous information to demonstrate proficiency with homecare techniques, along with the Prevention Compass™ Protocol. Recalibration will occur to deepen competency. Lastly, leadership skills will be fostered to strengthen educational approaches, presentation skills, and becoming an influential voice for peers and the public.
